The Bruins are back in town! Last Wednesday, The Red Wings won their season opener against Boston 2-1 in what has been a defensive game. The Bruins were playing the day before so they were starting with a small handicap that night in my opinion. Franzen got 2 assists while Nyquist (who else!) got the game-winning goal. Boston already played 4 games so that could be an advantage for Detroit, who only played 2 games since the beginning of the season. The Red Wings have a though schedule next week so they need to go out strong tomorrow. 2 back-to-back games vs Toronto, 1 vs Montreal and 1 vs Pittsburgh. Pavel Datsyuk already told the reporters that he will miss tomorrow's contest. Mike Babcock will have to shuffle his first line again to make sure he gets more offense from his team. Personally, I would put Nyquist on the first line with Zetterberg and Franzen. That would give a big boost to this offense. What is your best lineup? Here are the highlights from the last game vs Boston.
