The Detroit REd Wings finally had something go their way last night. Late in the second period, off a shot from Niklas Kronwall, the puck took a freakish bounce off the boards, and bounced back just at the right angle to catch New Jersey Devil's goalkeeper Cory Schneider in the back of the skate. The result was a goal that gave the Wings a 4-1 lead, they would go on to close the game out 4-2. It was nice to see the Wings finally catch a break in a season that's been tarnished by bad calls and bad luck. You can see the play here courtesy of NHL.com
