Young NHLer gets knocked out by a monster hit on Tuesday night.

A 21-year-old National Hockey League forward was separated from consciousness on Tuesday night.

Anaheim Ducks winger Ondrej Kase took one of the hardest looking hits of the season while his Ducks were facing off against the Los Angeles Kings, and it was clear from the get go that he was not ok.

Kase tried to get up after the hit but immediately collapsed to the ice and stopped moving for several seconds and remained there long after the trainer had come out to assist him.

Even after Kase got up to his feet it was clear that the lights were on but nobody was home. He had to be helped off the ice by both his teammates and the trainer, and he was still stumbling as he headed down the tunnel with help.

Kings defenseman Kurtis MacDermid was awarded a 5 minute major and ejected from the game on the play.
