Alexis Lafreniere hilariously trolled on St. Patty's Day.

The New York Rangers forward looked completely lost after a surprise appearance from a colorful Darren Pang.

It's St. Patty's Day and celebrations are going on around in the countries that celebrate the holiday, and that of course includes the countries in which the National Hockey League conducts its business.

On Sunday, we were treated to a rather comical scene thanks to the holiday when NHL color commentator, and former NHL goaltender, Darren Pang decided that he was going to go all out in his personal celebration of the day. Pang showed up in between the benches for today's afternoon game between the New York Islanders and New York Rangers as he normally does, but this time he was looking a little bit different.

Pang was sporting a full leprachaun's getup as he entered his office, and that would have been funny enough on its own but it got even better. Pang was ducking low below the boards when former first overall pick Alexis Lafreniere skated by and suddenly found himself confused at the sight before him.

It looks as though a few words were exchanged between the two men, and boy would I have loved to hear Lafreniere's initial reaction to Pang's outfit, but it mainly just looked as though Lafreniere was in disbelief at what was going on before his very eyes. The former first overall pick kept looking around and looking back at Pang in a rather comical scene on Sunday.

The guys on the ESPN broadcast got a good chuckle out of it as well.
