Another Canadian team forced to limit capacity?
First the Leafs, now this. Here we go again.

In case you missed the news yesterday, the Ontario government announced that its reducing capacity at arena venues to just 50%.
This, of course, means that the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators will be limited to half capacity for at least the next three weeks, while the province struggles to get the latest strain of COVID-19 under control. Cases of the Omicron variant are absolutely exploding in Ontario and this is part of premier Doug Ford's plan to help limit the spread.
As for the rest of the league, no other teams are facing limited capacity restrictions... yet.
British Columbian Health Minister Adrian Dix told reporters yesterday that his province is reviewing everything and is considering limiting capacity at Vancouver Canucks games, as well.

You may recall that the Canucks were the last team to open up to 100% capacity at the start of the season, as well. As it stands, it looks like they'll be amongst the first to close things back up a it too.
