And another game gets postponed.
On Friday morning, the NHL announced that that tomorrow’s game in Montreal between the Canadiens and Boston Bruins has been postponed. A make-up date for the game has yet to be established.
The Canadiens will resume their regular-season schedule on Monday, Dec. 20, at the New York Islanders.
On Thursday night, the Habs won 3-2 in a shootout over the Philadelphia Flyers in an empty Bell Centre. The Canadiens announced about two hours before puck drop Quebec public health officials had requested that no fans attend the game due to the “spiralling rise of COVID-19 cases in the region.”
Habs forward Jonathan Drouin stated in his post game conference that he was not comfortable with facing a team that is dealing with so many cases at the moment. He will be reassured by today's announcement.
