Blackhawks players taunted Aldrich’s victim during training camp despite saying they know nothing about the abuse!
Things are just bad in Chicago… so much is being revealed!

This is just horrible. As you know, the Chicago Blackhawks announced their general manager and president Stan Bowman had stepped down on Tuesday in the wake of an independent investigation into allegations that a then-assistant coach sexually assaulted two players in 2010. The report, called “disturbing and difficult to read” by CEO Danny Wirtz, has been handed over to the NHL. The league shortly after fined the Hawks $2-million for “inadequate procedures and mishandling” of 2010 sexual assault.
The allegations came to light this past offseason after a former player filed a lawsuit in Chicago against the franchise. That unnamed player alleges that he reported the abuse to the team and that he was essentially ignored. The player alleges that then team video coach Brad Aldrich had allegedly sexually assaulted him and then threatened him via text messages and other communications against making a complaint. A second former player alleges that he was also sexual assaulted by Aldrich and he also accuses the Blackhawks of covering up the abuse of two players.
At the time, other players were said to have been left in the dark. The report indicates : “Interviews of players from the 2010 Blackhawks’ roster contradicted the claims that ‘everyone’ knew—of the 14 players on the 2010 roster whom we interviewed, 6 players told us they had no knowledge of inappropriate conduct by Aldrich in 2010.”
To make matters worse and even more disgusting, the victim, John Doe revealed, by the report, that players taunted him with derogatory words and asked if John Doe missed “his boyfriend Brad.”
This is absolutely disturbing. The Hawks’ roster has changed a lot since 2010, but three players are still in the NHL, two in Chicago in Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. Duncan Keith is now with the Edmonton Oilers.
You have to wonder if the investigation will call upon these three players to say more about these allegations.
