Brandon Tanev brutally insults Jeff Skinner in hot mic incident!

So much happened during Monday night’s game between the Buffalo Sabres and the Seattle Kraken, that we are finally getting around to the juicy stuff. Not only did one of the referees working the game, Chris Rooney, was caught cussing out Kraken’s Haydn Fleury, but another hot mic incident took place and we have to say it’s pretty funny.

In the third period of the Kraken’s 7-4 win, pesty forward Brandon Tanev was caught insulting rival Jeff Skinner in a brutal way. He was so close to the ref’s mic that while the commentators took a breath in the play-by-play, Tanev’s words were heard loud and clear.

As Skinner sat back on his team’s bench, Tanev asked him: “Skinner you fucking suck - how the fuck did you get that deal?”

Brutal.

Skinner signed an eight-year, $72 million contract with the Sabres in June 2019. He struggled - like most Sabres have - but is looking good this year with already eight goals and 15 points in 22 games.

But Tanev is still shocked about the deal - and made it very clear…
