The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced a pair of contract signings.
First, the Penguins have signed 24-year-old former 6th round draft pick Josh Archibald to a two-year contract, the Penguins have announced that this will be a one-way deal for Archibald. Furthermore the Penguins have also revealed the financial terms of the deal, and Archibald will earn an average annual value of $675,000.
The Penguins also announced a one-year deal for 23-year-old defenseman Derrick Pouliot, like Archibald's deal this will be a one-way contract that will earn Pouliot an average annual value of $800,000.
Both men were part of Pittsburg's back to back Stanley Cup Championships and both men are very familiar with head coach Mike Sullivan who now has two more familiar faces back next season.
