Breaking: tragic news for the Ovechkin family

After throwing a lavish wedding in July near Moscow, in Russia, with loved ones, Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin is now mourning a close family member. 

The mother of his wife Nastasiya Ovechkin has sadly passed away on Wednesday. The cause of death was not immediately clear.

The actress Vera Glagovela died at the age of 61.
