Keeping it in the family!
HockeyFeed
This just in, the Calgary Flames have reportedly signed forward Matthew Gaudreau, younger brother of Flames superstar Johnny Gaudreau, to a one year, minor-league contract.
Check it out:
The 24 year old Matthew Gaudreau spent the past two seasons in the New York Islanders’ organization playing at both the AHL and ECHL levels. Previous to that he spent four seasons with Boston College of the NCAA and in fact had the chance to play with his brother during the 2013-14 season. The next season, of course, the elder Gaudreau was playing in the NHL with the Flames.
Could we see another Gaudreau reunion, but this time with the Flames? Time will tell.
