Coach Laviolette names his starter for Game 1, comments on Ovechkin's status

Washington Capitals head coach Peter Laviolette met with the media ahead of his team's playoff opening game against the Florida Panthers and, as you might imagine, all of the questions were about the health of captain Alex Ovechkin.
So without further ado, Caps fans.... yes Ovi is playing.
Whether or not the captain has recovered fully from a suspected upper body injury is anyone's guess, but you just KNEW that Ovi would find his way into the lineup come playoff time whether he's healthy or not.
Secondly, Laviolette confirmed that his starting goaltender for Game 1 will be Vitek Vanecek.
