Teammates often remain friends, and that includes family members too. When Matt Cullen decided to return to the Minnesota Wild, after winning two Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins, it was not an easy decision.

However, the Cullen family is thrilled to be back in Minnesota. Though they still miss their old friends and teammates, Cullen's kids, Brooks, Wyatt and Joey wanted to pull a prank of some of them when they came to have dinner at their house a few days ago.

When former Penguins teammates Sidney Crosby, Patric Hornqvist, Ian Cole and Carl Hagelin came over for dinner, the Cullen family revealed to the Athletic the boys' masterplan.

“Let’s put sleeping pills in their spaghetti,” the 7-year-old Joey yelled.

Matt interjected by suggesting they don't attempt something criminal. And then the boy had the great idea to put on his Halloween costume and scare the guests.

"Five minutes later, Joey races back downstairs wearing a “burnt zombie” costume for trick-or-treating the next night. Wyatt was going as Donkey Kong, Brooks as a skeleton."

The family is happy in Minnesota and it shows for Cullen on the ice. In 10 games so far this season, Cullen has amassed two assists.
