Ex NHL-er shot in prison

According to Pierre Jobin, a famous French Canadian journalist, an ex NHL-er was shot in prison.

In a couple of Tweets, Jobin states that Patrick Côté, jailed for a bank robbery, attacked another inmate and tried to strangle him. That's when a correctional officer shot Patrick Côté.

However, the hospital did not release any information about the health status of the ex NHL-er.
