Does Green deserve another shot?
HockeyFeed
According to a report from Vancouver Canucks insider Rick Dhaliwal, Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi has confirmed that former Canucks head coach Travis Green is a contender for the vacant head coaching position in Dallas.
From Dhaliwal:
Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi on coaching search and Travis Green : I think he would be a candidate. Travis has proven he deserves to be considered. I expect we will be talking to him.
Green hasn't worked since he was relieved of his position with the Canucks and replaced with Bruce Boudreau back in December. Meanwhile, the Stars have chosen not to renew the contract of longtime NHL coach Rick Bowness. Stay tuned.
