We're early in the first period of tonights' game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Carolina Hurricanes and the Habs finally have themselves a lead... or do they?
Habs forward Brendan Gallagher appeared to open the scoring on a beautiful deflection in front of 'Canes goaltender Frederik Andersen, but 'Canes head coach Rod Brind'Amour elected to use his Coach's Challenge to see if there was goaltender interference.
The goal was indeed called back for goaltender interference, but... you tell me... here's the play in question:
I mean... if that's goaltender interference then I'm not sure we're ever going to see someone score off a screen again. Thoughts?
