The Montreal Canadiens confirmed today that goaltender Jake Allen will be out for the remainder of the season while he deals with serious groin injury.
In addition, the team announced that 20 year old defenseman Justin Barron will also be out for the remainder of the season due to an ankle injury.
The hits just keep coming.
The Canadiens, who made an improbable run to the Stanley Cup Final less than a year ago, currently sit in 31st place in the NHL's standings. Pack it up, boys. Season over. Time to book a tee time.
