A huge update just minutes before puck drop in the Stanley Cup Final!
The Vegas Golden Knights may be at full strength for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final after all.
Although Golden Knights head coach John Tortorella refused to give an official update on veteran defenseman Brayden McNabb on Saturday, the National Hockey League Network may have just scooped his attempt at keeping his cards close to the vest.
That's because the NHL Network just aired a video that showed McNabb walking into the building ahead of Game 3 with a coffee cup in hand and his face appearing to be in pretty good shape all things considered.
Update: This has now been confirmed by multiple sources.
McNabb was of course knocked out of action in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final after a horrifying incident in which he was struck directly in the face by a wicked shot courtesy of Carolina Hurricanes forward Nikolaj Ehlers. The shot reportedly hit speeds of 87 miles per hour before slamming into McNabb's nose and taking him out of the game for the rest of the night.
Here is a close up look at just how bad of a situation this was for McNabb:
If he does indeed suit up for tonight's game his already well established reputation for toughness will grow even larger.
Update 2: McNabb is taking warm ups wearing a full cage.
Update 3: McNabb is officially in for Game 3.
