Late in the 3rd period of Game 1 between the Florida Panthers and the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Panthers appeared to tie the game at 2... except they didn't. It was obvious to anyone watching the game that the goal shouldn't have counted. Everyone, that is, except the four NHL officials on the ice whose literal job it is to decide what's a goal and what's not a goal.

It's pretty obvious that the puck went over the glass and hit the netting, right?
I mean... it's obvious to me. It's obvious to thousands of people watching at home... yet somehow the refs missed it. Which prompted Lightning head coach Jon Cooper to ask the question that we've all been wondering about the refs this post-season:
A pretty clear cut WTF moment, indeed.
