Forward Kyle Clifford was placed on waivers on Monday, but was not claimed today.

Clifford has one assist in two games with the Blues this season. He is playing out the last of a two-year, $2 million contract signed with the Blues ahead of the 2020-21 season.

However, new faces have been placed on the wire as the Montreal Canadiens have put up forward Adam Brooks on waivers and the Vancouver Canucks have placed defenseman Guillaume Brisebois on the wire.

Brooks was claimed off waivers by the Canadiens from the Toronto Maple Leafs prior to the start of the 2021-22 season.

Despite the chance to play due to injuries to several forwards, Brooks only played four games for the Canadiens, and earned just one assist.

If Brooks clears, he will be assigned to the Laval Rocket.

As for Brisebois, he did not get to play for the Canucks, who called up him for depth on the team’s road trip.

We will see if he gets claimed by tomorrow as the Canucks are struggling to perform in a dreadful start to the campaign.
