On Thursday, it was Brady Tkachuk’s to go viral as it was confirmed that he got engaged to girlfriend Emma. The couple’s picture with Emma showing off her new ring started trending on Friday morning, with fans across the National Hockey League congratulated the Ottawa Senators' captain for getting himself off the market.

That is quite different from what’s happening to Matthew Tkachuk, who informed the Calgary Flames earlier this week that he was not interested in staying long-term with the club. The Flames filed for club-elected salary arbitration with the restricted free agent on Monday, giving the team more time to put a trade together. Calgary is looking to move him to a club where Tkachuk would sign an extension. He has reportedly provided a list of teams where he is willing to be moved, which has everyone trying to guess where he will land. Per Jeremy Rutherford of the Athletic, one source familiar with Tkachuk’s list said that St. Louis, Vegas, Florida, Nashville and Dallas are options. New Jersey and the New York Rangers are also among the other teams that have expressed interest in the past.
