Maple Leafs working to sign Max Domi in free agency.

In spite of having very limited cap space, the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to make another big signing.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are set to make a huge splash on day two of free agency, first with the signing of forward Tyler Bertuzzi and now with another signing rumored to be on the way.

The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta has been on top of the developing Maple Leafs news all day with Pagnotta being the first to link both Bertuzzi and Max Domi to the Maple Leafs today. Following the signing of Bertuzzi, Pagnotta cautioned that the Maple Leafs were still in on Domi.

And now we've received even more confirmation of the fact that the Maple Leafs are indeed trying to get a deal done here, with National Hockey League insider Elliotte Friedman confirming the rumor just moments ago.

These moves will require the Maple Leafs to make additional changes to their roster in order to fit all of this under the salary cap, which could mean another big move from the Maple Leafs is on the horizon as well.

Update: Max Domi is now officially a Maple Leaf, you can read about it here.
