Matt Murray mounts his NHL comeback
The two time Cup winner is back in the show.

This just in, the Ottawa Senators have recalled goaltender Matt Murray from the AHL's Belleville Senators.
The 27 year old goaltender has been absolutely DREADFUL since the Sens acquired him from the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2020 offseason and promptly signed to an onerous four year, $25 million contract.
Since winning back to back Stanley Cups with the Penguins in 2016 and 2017, Murray has struggled mightily but the Sens took a chance on him that has absolutely backfired. Murray has a 3.26 goals against average and .890 save percentage in six games with the Sens this season, but he'll get a chance to re-affirm himself as an everyday NHL goaltender with this recent call up from the AHL.
Honestly, I'm hoping that Murray can pull things together a bit and re-establish himself in the Sens' crease.
