NHL continues to postpone games amidst league-wide outbreak

This just in, the NHL has announced the postponement of at least three more games on the schedule. Wednesday evening's games of the Chicago Blackhawks versus the Winnipeg Jets and the Dallas Stars versus the Colorado Avalanche have been postponed, along with Friday evening's (New Year's Eve) game between the Avalanche and the Stars.

At this point, the only games left on the 2021 calendar are few and far between and, frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if the NHL just shut down entirely until the Winter Classic at Target Field in Minneapolis.
