According to a report from TSN insider Darren Dreger, the Edmonton Oilers are trotting out veteran goaltender Mike Smith as their starter for Game 2 despite an absolutely dreadful showing in Game 1.
So Smith starts Game 2... the real question though is, "Will he end Game 2?"
As for the Avs, it looks like starter Darcy Kuemper is out of the lineup with a suspected vision problem. Backup Pavel Francouz is expected to get the start tonight in Denver.
From Avs insider Peter Baugh:

While the team would obviously rather have Kuemper available, Francouz was actually stellar in Game 1. There's no question that both goaltenders can be better though and I'd expect both teams to tighten up their defensive games after an absolute free for all in Game 1.
