The Rangers could be without some big names tonight as they face off against perennial rivals the New Jersey Devils tonight. Defensemen Dan Girardi (leg) and Kevin Klein (chin) sustained injuries in the game and are each listed day-to-day, according to Northjersey.com. Girardi blocked a shot by Sharks forward Joe Pavelski 33 seconds into the third period. Klein was hit in the face late in the game and needed stitches on his chin.
If Girardi is unable to play against the Devils, Michael Kostka will take his place in the lineup.
The Rangers are coming off their most impressive game of the season to date, a 4-0 shutout victory over the San Jose Sharks.
