Rangers sign both Kreider and Hayes to new deals on Friday.
A pair of important moves for the Rangers ahead of the week-end.

The New York Rangers announced a pair of important signings on Friday.
First the big one, a new four year deal with forward Chris Kreider just prior to the two sides heading in to arbitration to work out a new deal. According to NHL analyst Aaron Ward, the deal is worth $18.5 million which comes out to an average annual value of $4, 625,000.
The Rangers weren't done with Kreider however, also announcing the signing of another forward, Kevin Hayes, this time a two-year deal worth $5.2 million for an average annual value of $2.6 million.
