Lineup change ahead of tonight’s game against the Flyers:

The New York Rangers have decided to make forward Alexis Lafreniere a healthy scratch on Wednesday night against the Philadelphia Flyers.
However, it is believed that the Blue Shirts are looking to give Lafreniere a rest since NY has already clinched a playoff spot.
In 72 games this season, Lafreniere has managed to tally 15 goals and 25 points. This is not what has been excepted of the 2020 first overall pick, and so, the sitting in the press box scenario could motivate him to get better and be the player the Rangers need him to be for the postseason.
Last season, he played in all 56 games, and so it also makes sense to look at giving the young forward a rest.
Let’s see if it will have an impact on him.
