We're less than 24 hours away from the opening of free agency and we still yet don't know if Calgary Flames star Johnny Gaudreau is going to test the market.

Gaudreau, of course, is a pending unrestricted free agent and NHL insider Frank Seravalli reports that the Flames are pulling out all the stops to keep him in Calgary. There's a belief out there that Gaudreau would welcome a return to Calgary, but that he also has some sentimental feelings for his hometown Philadelphia Flyers, whom are expected to court him if he indeed heads to free agency. As Seravalli reports, if Gaudreau does in fact leave the Flames it won't be over money.
