Rookie Trevor Zegras made and won a $100 bet with Ryan O'Reilly in the faceoff circle

Don't look now, but the 9-4-3 Anaheim Ducks are one point back of the Edmonton Oilers for tops in the NHL's Pacific Division. 

Heading into the season there weren't many people out there predicting the Ducks to have a resurgent season after yet another year of mediocrity. But led by the youthful enthusiasm of players like Troy Terry, Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale and with veterans like Ryan Getzlaf and Adam Henrique looking rejuvenated, maybe playoffs are in the picture for this Ducks team?

To me, Zegras and Drysdale are the next two big stars on this team. Both players are dynamic and absolutely mature beyond their years and... call me crazy... but I think they actually have a bit of swagger to them too. Zegras, in particular, has such a coy smile and a laid back attitude that he seems like the perfect heir for the 36 year old Getzlaf.
