Ryan Reaves engages in bizarre pregame ritual before Game 7.
What is he doing?
They say that hockey players are a superstitious bunch, and New York Rangers enforcer Ryan Reaves may have just exemplified that better than anyone else has before ahead of the all important Game 7 he and the Rangers are set to play against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Reaves was recorded after setting up a bunch of water bottles along the boards and then knocking them off in a variety of different ways. Some of the bottles were given the soft and sweet treatment with Reaves giving each one of them a kiss before gently pushing them over, while others were treated more violently with quick swings of his head to send those ones flying. It was the last 3 bottles that got the harshest treatment of all though with Reaves using his stick to dispatch all 3, spraying the Rangers equipment staff with water in the process.
