Terrible...

The Montreal Canadiens put up quite a fight in Edmonton last night when they managed to erase a 2-0 deficit against the Oilers and tie the game to push it in overtime. The Habs however fell in overtime when star forward Leon Draisaitl score the game winning goal to call it a night.

Against all expectations, this was a great hockey game, however, some fans still managed to spoil the whole thing by acting like idiots once it was over.

After the game, a violent fight broke out in hallways of Rogers Place, involving several fans, most of whom were wearing home team jerseys. In the video that has gone viral on social media since last night, one or two Canadiens fans appear to be also involved in the altercation, but there are mostly a bunch of Oilers’ fans fighting amongst themselves.

This is completely ridiculous. I bet alcohol is to blame, along with terrible judgment...

In the video, you can hear one of the witnesses of the fight saying: "Only in Edmonton!" Unfortunately, that's not the case as we've seen other fights amongst fans trending on social media this season and during previous campaigns.

People need to get it together and show more class. They just got to experience a great hockey game... let's not ruin it by acting like idiots and throwing punches that could really injure someone and get them in serious trouble.
