William Nylander is having none of Corey Perry’s antics!
You gotta love his reaction!

Things have been heated in between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning since Game 1 of the series. Bolts forward Corey Perry kicked things off early when he was the last player off the ice for pregame warmups and flicked a puck down the ice into the Leafs empty net. He then celebrated as he skated off. The fans at Scotiabank Arena noticed and gave him some boos as he disappeared down the tunnel.
Perry kept it going during the game, but William Nylander didn’t care one bit.
In first period, the camera caught Perry egging on Nylander, hitting the back of his legs with his stick and grabbing his jersey to get a reaction, and the Leafs’ forward was just smiling back at the veteran.
This is what the Maple Leafs’ fanbase wants to see. Perry will keep it up no doubt, but if Toronto does not bite and stays out of the penalty box, they have a shot at keeping the lead in this fiery series.
After Game 1, it was announced by the NHL's Department of Player Safety that three players had been fined for their actions in the first contest of the series. Toronto’s Wayne Simmonds and Tampa’s Corey Perry and Pat Maroon all received fines for unsportsmanlike conduct for their roles in the melee.
Simmonds and Maroon forked over $2,250 and Perry forfeited $2,500. It remains to be seen if he will need to pay up some more during the series...
But Perry did get a goal in this one, giving the Lightning a 2-0 lead in the second period.
