Zack Kassian's situation with the Montreal Canadiens' getting worse.
He likely won't play for the Canadiens' organization.

According to TSN's John Lu, Montreal Canadiens' forward, Zack Kassian has been told not to report to Montreal's AHL affiliate St-John's Ice Caps.
The rugged forward was assigned to the AHL after being made eligible after completing the first stage of the NHL's Substance Abuse and Behavioural Health program last week.
Kassian broke his foot in a car accident as a passenger in his own pick-up truck back in September. Shortly after the incident, he entered the NHL's SABH program.
Although there is a roster freeze in the NHL, a trade can be agreed upon in the NHL, between general managers. It would be surprising to see Kassian with the Montreal Canadiens this season and could be move soon.
