It was not just another day at the rink for the Chicago Blackhawks and fan Megan Hill on Thursday. Ahead of the game against the San Jose Sharks, Hill, a 14-year-old girl with cystic fibrosis, got to join Hawks practice as part of the Make-A-Wish program.

And she made sure to impress, scoring on star goalie Corey Crawford with a wicked wrister.

“It’s like a dream come true,” Hill said to NBC Sports after practice. “It’s insane. I never thought that this would happen and it did and I got to play with the Chicago Blackhawks. I scored on Corey Crawford.”
“I was standing between Corey Crawford and Patrick Kane and they were talking to me and each other and it was just another day,” Hill added. “I can’t stop smiling right now.”

With last night’s tight game against the Sharks, we would have loved to see Hil on the ice to beat Aaron Dell with that beauty! The Hawks ended falling to San Jose 5-4.
