1st overall pick Owen Power gets a mob of reporters in Toronto ahead of his first NHL game

2021 1st overall pick Owen Power will make his NHL debut this evening when his Buffalo Sabres take on the Toronto Maple Leafs in Power's hometown of Toronto.

Following his first practice with the Sabres yesterday, Power was mobbed by the Toronto media and, honestly, the kid handled things pretty well. You can tell he was a bit surprised by the amount of microphones shoved in his face and he offered up a lot of the same old hockey cliches that we're used to, but he didn't have that "deer in the headlights" look that a lot of young players can have early on in their careers.
