University of Michigan product Andrew Copp has earned himself his second National Hockey League contract.

The former Winnipeg Jets fourth round draft selection in 2013 played a total of 141 NHL games during the two years of his entry-level deal, recording 16 goals and 14 assists for a total of 30 points over that stretch.

His most recent campaign with the Jets was by far his best NHL season with Copp setting career highs in goals with 9, assists with 8, points with 17 total, and finishing with a career best plus minus rating of +8.

According to NHL analyst Aaron Ward, the contract will be a two-year deal worth somewhere in the range of 2 million dollars total.
