An old rivalry revived?

There's no much debate here, for the last few seasons, the Maple Leafs haven't been in a rivalry with anyone except maybe the Edmonton Oilers for the first overall draft pick.

Coming into this season, it seems like the mindset has changed. Young phenom and record holder, Auston Matthews has put faith back into Maple Leafs fan's hearts. The chemistry he developped with his linemates, William Nylander and Zach Hyman is a flag of hope for days to come. On top of that, Mitchell Marner proved himself to be a solid offensive assets on the right wing, completing perfectly a line with Tyler Bozak and James Van Riemsdyk.
