Andrew Mangiapane (5'10“) absolutely pummels Charlie McAvoy (6'5”)

The Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins renewed acquaintances earlier today, with an epic New Year's Eve showdown in the Nation's Capital.

The Caps earned a 3-1 victory but after the game all anyone could talk about what the pummeling that 5'10" Capitals forward Andrew Mangiapane put on 6'5" Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy.

Now... Mangiapane started really throwing 'em once he got mount position though, so I'd hardly call this a fair fight. And you just know that McAvoy is licking his lips at the prospect of a rematch.
