Artemi Panarin caught red handed on Sunday!

The New York Rangers star forward got caught with his hand in the cookie jar on Sunday afternoon.

National Hockey League color commentator Darren Pang might deserve a raise after his rather amusing performance on the broadcast on St. Patrick's Day.

Pang was involved in a pair of hilarious moments on Sunday thanks to his decision to go all out for the holiday, including dressing up as a leprechaun and carrying around a drink cup with some kind of green substance inside of it. This resulted in a hilarious interaction with New York Rangers former first overall pick Alexis Lafreniere, but the interaction it caused with Rangers star forward Artemi Panarin was even funnier.

Panarin would get himself caught with his hand in the proverbial cookie jar, on camera no less, when he reached over between the benches to steal himself a little of Pang's green drink. Pang of course thought the entire interaction was incredibly amusing as did his colleagues up in the broadcast booth who were laughing the entire time.

The green drink was described as gatorade-like in nature, but to be perfectly honest I'm not 100% sure I'm buying that on on St. Patrick's Day of all days.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter what was in the cup, even if it was booze of some kind, as everyone involved was clearly having a great time and no one was harmed at all by Panarin's rather comical behavior. If anything I wish more hockey players would show their funny personalities in the way that Panarin showed his off on Sunday.
