Benn and Anderson go toe to toe in fight of the season

In case you missed it, last night’s game between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Dallas Stars provided some fireworks. Not only was the skill of players like Artemi Panarin, Cam Atkinson, Pierre Luc Dubois, Jamie Benn, Alex Radulov and Tyler Seguin on display, gut there were also some fisticuffs, as well.

About midway through the first period with the score still deadlocked at zero, Stars captain Benn elected to drop the gloves with Jackets forward Josh Anderson and to two provided what is perhaps the scrap of the season. The two heavyweights each landed HUGE shots in this tilt, with Benn scoring the eventual knock down.

The Blue Jackets would go on to win the game 2-1 and sweep the season series between the two teams for the third straight season.
