Just a day after the Boston Bruins revealed their new/old look for the 2025-26 NHL season, the St. Louis Blues have followed suit.

Today the Blues revealed a rebranding that will see their logo and jersey return to the lighter shade of blue and yellow that they donned when they first entered the NHL back in 1967.

Check it out:

“The heritage jersey reflects the rich, compelling history of the St. Louis Blues, and it is one of the most classic jerseys in the National Hockey League,” said Tom Stillman, Blues Chairman. “The response of Blues fans to this jersey has been overwhelming, and we are pleased to share the updated versions with our supporters everywhere.”

“Evolving one of the most iconic marks in our sport was a responsibility our brand team and equipment staff undertook with great pride over years of collaboration,” said Chris Zimmerman, Blues President and CEO of Business Operations. “Playing in three Winter Classics gave us the opportunity to explore elements of our past that produced remarkable designs, validating the strong affinity for heritage blue becoming our primary team color shared by our fans and players. The evolution of the Blue Note, and development of additional brand marks, provides our fans new ways to express and celebrate their support for the St. Louis Blues.”

The Boston Bruins will have a new look for the 2025-26 National Hockey League regular season.

On Monday morning, the Bruins confirmed what many of us have suspected for months now when they released a second teaser video in as many days. This time however the teaser video concluded with a statement that featured a new-look Bruins logo, all but confirming what has been rumored for months.

The Bruins released Monday's video, a hype trailer narrated by the legendary Denis Leary, on social media and the video is a tribute to the franchise's origins and its roots in the City of Boston, as well as a tribute to the origins and the roots of how the Bruins have traditionally played hockey.

You can see the video for yourself just below:

As I mentioned this is now the second time the Bruins have teased a new jersey, with the first teaser video being released late on Sunday night. During my original report on that video I speculated that the Bruins could also be announcing David Pastrnak as the team's next captain.

Back in March I also covered a story where a news station appeared to have leaked the new Bruins jersey early, a rumor that now seems all but confirmed. If you would like to get a sneak peak at what the jerseys will look like, you can check out our original story from March right here.

The reaction to the new logo seems to be universally positive so far, but I would love to hear what you think in the comments.
