BREAKING: 30-year-old veteran placed on waivers!

This is starting to look like a trend as many insiders noticed it, the number of players placed on waivers this year is ridiculous... and we're not done yet. Some teams even claimed a player they previously left on the wire (yeah, we're looking at you, Lou Lamoriello)

The most recent chapter in the "Tale of the hundred waived" is Tampa Bay Lightning, Erik Condra. According to Sportsnet's Chris Johnston, the Lightning reportedly placed their veteran forward on the wire earlier today.

Condra, 30, is currently playing the second year of a 3-year contract and carries a $1.250.000 cap hit. He's scoreless in 10 games so far this season in the NHL but managed to score 7 goals and 16 helpers for 23 points in 24 games with the Syracuse Crunch.
