Will the weather Gods come out on top of the Hockey Gods tonight? That’s a question many fans of the Blues fans are wondering since there is now a tornado warning behind sent in St. Louis…

The state of emergency has officially been declared.

TSN senior hockey writer Frank Seravalli received a concerning alert on his phone prior to the game:

Local meteorologist, KMOV’s Steve Templeton had reported earlier today prior to Game 6 against the San Jose Sharks that “damaging wind is the primary threat “with isolated tornadoes possible on the leading edge of the squall line” would be in the miss tonight. He unfortunately wasn’t wrong…

The worst of it will hit the St. Louis area between 7 and 9 p.m. tonight — so right around the time that the puck drop will come for the Blues and Sharks’ game…

While we get that people will want to stay around to cheer on their favourite thing let’s all remember to stay safe tonight, St. Louis.
