The Boston Bruins took to the ice this morning for their routine morning skate ahead of a crtiical Game 5 against the Columbus Blue Jackets in their second round series in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

First and foremost he is how Boston's lines look to breakdown for Game 5 according to Matt Porter of the Boston Globe. Now keep in mind that these lines are subject to change and that head coach Bruce Cassidy could in theory make any changes he wants between now and the puck dropping for Game 5, and not to mention the dynamic changes that could occur during the course of the game.

Now of course the first thing that you should notice here is that for some reason Boston Bruins veteran forward Noel Acciari is mysteriously absent from the list of names provided by Porter. Well since the report from Porter this morning the Boston Bruins have now officially confirmed that Acciari was in fact absent from practice on Saturday, although what this means exactly remains to be seen as no official update has been provided in that regard.

Of course at this time of year the main concern is always that a player may have gotten injured somehow, although at this time for all that we know this could simply be a maintenance day for Acciari. That being said given how important a Game 5 is for any team currently tied in the series, it seems unlikely that Acciari would have been absent from practice this morning if it could have been avoided.

No word yet on when we might get an update on the status of the 27 year old Bruins center but we will be stating on top of this story and providing you any updates that become available.
