Breaking: Bruins forward out “long-term” due to injury.

The Bruins have lost one of their bottom six forwards for the long term.

According to a breaking news report from the National Hockey League's Siruis/XM station, forward Noel Acciari's injury has now been determined to be a severe one, and as a result he will be out of the lineup "long-term."

Acciari while not a household name was a part of what was proving to be a highly successful fourth line for the Bruins that also included Tim Schaller and Dominic Moore.

Acciari had 26 hits, one goal, two assists and a plus minus rating of 1 through 12 games this season, and unfortunately it appears he will be replaced by Jimmy Hayes who has not performed nearly as well this season, leading to two consecutive healthy scratches.
