Breaking: Early signs indicate the Oilers may be about to dodge a huge bullet.

The Edmont Oilers may be about to catch a huge break.

While it's not an official report, TSN insider Darren Dreger is now reporting that he does not believe that Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl will be suspended.

Dreger does however believe that Draisaitl will receive a fine from the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety, something that will go on his record as additional discipline, and something that would make him a repeat offender should he land himself in trouble again.

Nonetheless this has to be considered a major win for the Oilers, if Dreger is in fact accurate in his report.
