Breaking News: Major injury on the top line

Matt Read, winger for the Philadephia Flyers is officially out for the remainder of the season.  GM Ron Hextall, has established that Read will be out for a total of 6-8 weeks with an upper-body injury.  Though not confirmed, it looks like it could be an arm injury, as Read was last seen on the ice blocking a Nick Leddy shot.

This season Matt Read spent most of his time on the top line with Giroux and Voracek.  He acquired a total of 19 points (10 goals, 9 assists).  With the playoffs nearly out of reach for the Flyers, the team will have to win the remainder of their games without Matt Read in their projected lines.  Will the Flyers be able to continue their three game winning streak or will the New Jersey Devils end it tomorrow night along with their playoff hopes?
