The Toronto Maple Leafs have placed goaltender Jhonas Enroth on waivers moments ago after a subpar start to his season.
Getting a chance to prove oneself in only four appearances is hardly a chance at all, many would argue, especially with a team that is clearly still in transition. Enroth went 0-3-1 and posted a 3.94 goals-against average while maintaining a .872 save percentage.
Moreover, with Karri Ramo given the green light to return shortly, others believe that he will be the Leafs' go-to guy.
Enroth has until noon tomorrow to clear waivers, but his agent has clarified that nothing is set in stone as of yet:
