Anthony Stolarz, a second round selection for the Philadelphia Flyers in 2012 (#45 overall), will finally get his first start!

Stolarz a netminder born and raised in the state of New-Jersey is set to make his NHL debut against the Calgary Flames sunday night at the Wells Fargo Center, a few hours away from home.

Although there's no confirmation coming from Dave Hasktol, somebody leaked the information to the locker room as Stolarz's teammate are all over the media, saying they're excited for him.

“He’s been called up numerous times. Over a quarter of the year, he’s been called up and waiting for a shot. This year, especially, he looks like a different goaltender in net. He’s put a lot of work in. He’s ready for it." Said Steve Mason, Philadelphia #1 goaltender.

And look like a different goaltender he does. Stolarz is posting an impressive .927 save percentage and 2.39 Goal Against Average with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, his best numbers ever, including his OHL's season.

Hopefully for the Flyers, Stolarz will deliver sunday night!
